Student Information

Welcome to the Wesley Foundation at Eastern Illinois University. It is our mission to connect students to the love of God known through the life of Jesus Christ.  We strive to offer a spiritual home, provide opportunities for personal growth and spiritual formation, serve Christ by serving others, work for peace with justice, develop Christian leaders and provide outreach through missions.

We offer a variety of regularly scheduled activities each week and several special events each semester.

Sunday Supper

Sick of dorm food? Out of swipes for the week? Refrigerator empty? Then join us each Sunday at 5:30 when we enjoy a free, home cooked meal provided by a local church served at the Foundation.

Large Group Study

Each Monday at 7p we come together to talk about a relevant issue and examine what scripture says about it. Past studies have included prayer, relationships, and God’s will.

Meet ‘n Eat

Come together with friends as we eat lunch at the Union. Join us anytime between 11:00a and 1p. If you don’t want to buy your lunch at the food court, bring it with you!

Powerlight Worship Gathering

Powerlight is our weekly worship at 9p on Wednesday here at the Foundation. Powerlight is a time of singing (led by our band FOAM), prayer, praise, and a meaningful message. It’s totally informal (we sit on couches) and a great way to recharge your batteries to get through the rest of the week.

The Foundation hosts a variety of special weekend events. Look to the calendar to see what is planned.

Spring Break Mission Trip

Each spring break we head out to do missions. In the past we have done hurricane relief and built houses with Habitat for Humanity. Each fall we choose the trip for the next spring.
